Experience: Independent Contractor (2005 – Present)


• Lorel Marketing – King of Prussia, PA (8/2008-Present)

-Full time position as the senior designer in a brand agency. Brought in to the company to help shape the direction of the interactive department. Helped turn around the delivery time through revamping the work flow and organization as well as adding new design & technical capabilities for the department. Heavy use of Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.

• AAAA Competition (Winning Group) - Philadelphia, PA (1/2009-4/2009)

-Initiated by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) for its annual sponsorship of the Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) program. It is a nationally recognized program gathering the best young talent to form 4 start-up agencies charged with solving a problem for a real world client, in my case the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania (UWSEPA). Over 3 months, we developed a campaign to revitalize UWSEPA from initial research and statistics to strategy and PR and finally to tactics and creative. At the end of the process after all teams presented, we were recognized as the winning team. Going forward, our team will be consulted by UWSEPA to implement our strategy in the coming year.

• GSI Interactive – King of Prussia, PA (12/2007-8/2008) - Consultant (10/2008-Present)

-Full time position as a designer in an agency environment. Dealing with numerous high profile clients (NBA, MLB, Dick’s Sporting, PBS, etc) on a daily basis. Primary responsibilities include site advertisement design and rotations, flash development and brand definition. Regularly act as an instructor during weekly internal ActionScript meetings. Turned around the Small Projects vertical through prompt delivery and increased quality. Heavy use of Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Washington Wizards - NBA, Washington DC (10/2007-11/2007)

-Freelance position to design Washington Wizards’ new interactive cheerleading page. Developed in Flash with interactive galleries, news, video and multimedia downloads.

• eCity Interactive, Philadelphia, PA (8/2007, 9/2007, 10/2007)

-Character design and animation using Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator for GSK ‘e-blast’ congratulatory e-mail. Received ahead of schedule and have been congratulated directly by members of the company. Continual work required for successive iterations.

• P&O Cruises, Southampton, England (10/2006-3/2007)

-Extended contract requiring autonomous decision making in a designer/developer role. Worked to combine Flash and HTML/CSS/JavaScript to an outstanding and professional site for their newest cruise ship, Ventura. The Final project has been featured in best-selling UK creative art magazine, Computer Arts (issue 134).

• Client First Sports Agency, Bidborough, England (9/2006, 4/2007)

-Logo and web design for sports agency using Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash. Brought business cards and letterheads to print while developing Flash website for the company.

• a suit that fits, London, England (10/2006-11/2006)

-Freelance Flash Designer/Developer working to create dynamic interactive measuring guide for bespoke suit company. Built and coded in Flash with light PHP to submit information to the server to be processed.

• CrowdConnect Group, Princeton, NJ (8/2006-9/2006)

-Freelance Designer responsible for developing a simple Flash presentation for a youth club encouraging science. Presentation used simple navigation and used to inform potential members.

• eCity Interactive, Philadelphia, PA (6/2006-7/2006)

-Freelance Designer for PBS Kid’s Show “Good Night Sprouts” website. Assisted in further development and animation on the finished site.

-Freelance Animator for IPS Pharmaceutical Convention Presentation.
